Endowed with extraordinary energy and charisma, actor Mateusz Nowak single-handedly brings the entire world of Soplicowo to life, complete with its characters, conflicts, emotions and humour. Reviewing Nowak’s performance at the 2026 Kraków International Monodrama Festival, German critic Dieter Topp declared him the king of the Polish monodrama, equating his influence on the local stage with that of British solo-theatre icon Pip Utton.
