4. Kielce International Theatre Festiva

The idea of ​​the festival is to create a space of multicultural dialogue through the presentation of varieties of contemporary theatre and dramaturgy of European countries. The festival is intended to be a platform for meetings of professionals and theatre lovers, and is guided by the mission of broadly defined integration of European culture and the theatre community. But most importantly, it gives viewers of the city and region the opportunity to learn about important performances.

The plays Blood Type by Anna Wakulik and Freeshooter by Ishbel Szatrawska were written as part of the DRAMATOPISANIE programme organised by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

DRAMATOPISANIE is a programme launched in 2020 with the aim of supporting the most talented contemporary Polish playwrights by providing them with favourable conditions to pursue their work, to promote their achievements and disseminate knowledge about Polish contemporary drama.
