Zuzanna Wierzbińska

She graduated from the Lodz Film School. Before she went to Kielce theatre she was associated with theatres in Łódź, mainly with the Kazimierz Dejmek New Theatre. She made her debut on our stage in theatre season 2008/2009 in the role of Dvori Machnes in the play “Games in the backyard” directed by Julia Wernio.

Additionally, Wierzbińska played Anna in the TV Theatre play “At the bottom” (Na dnie) by Maksym Górski, directed by Andrzej Domalik (2005). She has also acted in a few episodes in Polish television series: “The Presbytery” (Plebania) – Ewka, “Tenants” (Lokatorzy), “Guesthouse under the rose” (Pensjonat pod Różą) and “Father Matthew” (Ojciec Mateusz), as well as in the films: Ewa Stankiewicz’s “You won’t know” (Nie będziesz wiedział), Tomasz Pędzieszczyk’s “Feet at the top, head at the bottom” (Nogami w górę, głową w dół) (2009) and the Polish-German production “Don’t leave me” (Nie opuszczaj mnie) directed by Ewa Stankiewicz (2011). She also works in dubbing, among others, „Pinocchio: an adventure into the future” (Pinokio – przygoda w przyszłość) and „The Nutcracker” (Dziadek do orzechów).

Prizes

• 2014 Best Actor Award at the Festival of Comedy TALIA in Tarnów for her role of Poupche in the play “Yakish & Poupche” (Jakiś i Pupcze)
