TEATR POLSKA 2020 - the sixth edition

The aim of the project TEATR POLSKA is to make the access to the best performances of Polish theatre easier for inhabitants of towns where there is no institutional theatre. The program popularizes theatre art and works for neutralizing economic barriers in access to culture, especially in the towns far away from big theatre centers. 

Performance „The Cherry Orchard” was chosen between 115 performances which applied in this year to project “Teatr Polska”.

Performance presentations:

4th of October at 6 p.m. – Miejskie Centrum Kultury in Skarżysko Kamienna (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship)

13th October at 6 p.m. – Osiedlowy Dom Społeczny MALWA in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship)

16th of October at 6 p.m. – Starachowickie Centrum Kultury (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship)

18th of October at 6 p.m. – Opatowski Ośrodek Kultury (Świętokrzyskie voivodeship)

 

 

21st of October at 6 p.m. – Miejski Dom Kultury in Barcin (Kujawsko – mazurske voivodeship)

23rd of October at 6 p.m. – Brzeskie Centrum Kultury (Opolskie voivodeship)

24th October at 7 p.m. – Miejsko-Gminne Centrum Kultury Jelcz-Laskowice (Dolnośląskie voivodeship)

Performances will be followed by meetings with actors under the slogan “Fading world and contemporary moment”. The topic of the performance – inevitable metamorphosis of reality, which becomes the past in our sight, will be the motive for discussion about the things we witness in this moment, also in the situation of pandemic – transformation of customs, conventions, social , ethical and cultural reality. Besides, artist will tell about their experiences in the preparation of the performance, which is the staging of one of the most significant dramatic plays at all.

We invite all viewers to meetings with actors after the performances.
