The first-ever staging of Ishbel Szatrawska's bestselling book, for which she received, among others, the Empik Discovery Award. It is a story of a father told by his daughters. The protagonist, Hershu Libkin, is a Jew of Polish origin who left the war behind and tried to make a career in the American film industry. In 1940s Hollywood, he met Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart on the set of a Western. For the émigrés, the studio did not necessarily turn out to be a dream factory, especially when the FBI started to take an interest in the actors and the voices of the past started to resonate in their heads...

Łukasz Kos cast almost all the actors of the Kielce Theatre in the play and invited new performers as well. The result is a performance saturated with music and fast-paced action, during which the director takes the audience, with a dose of humour, on a trip through the nooks and crannies of noir cinema, taking them to Woodstock and Auschwitz. He undertakes a game with the mechanisms of memory, without treating the subject of the Holocaust as an exclusively Jewish space.
