1. Kielce International Theatre Festival

The main theme of the 1. Kielce International Theatre Festival will be a young man in the face of an important life choice. Entering adulthood is rarely done with impunity.

Novice actors of  “Český díplom” have to contend with the totalitarian regime and Czechoslovakia’s system of the ‘60s. Spectacle „roz / CZAROWANIE” from Warsaw evokes the world of childhood dreams and fairy tales and confronts it with the experience of adulthood. In a Hungarian performance, young people from a Russian school in Beslan are witnessing a terrorist attack. Dorota Masłowska’s play „Dwoje biednych Rumunów mówiących po polsku”, which makes an international career, talks about the poverty and exclusion being experienced by Dżina and Parcha, pretending to be a poor. Foolishness gets out of control and ceases to be fun.

The performance from Krystyna Janda’s Och-Teatr in Warsaw will be completely different. „Prapremiera dreszczowca” is an excellent farce about creating a theatre performance by amateurs. Of course, professional actors play them!
